Hold Space: Esmaa Mahamoud on the power of art and sport
Hold Space is an interview series celebrating game-changers on and off the court. Artist and sculptor, Esmaa Mohamoud turned heads with her One of The Boys exhibit in 2017 and was one half of the creative team behind the Raptors Two-Five statue commemorating the team's 25th anniversary. She speaks about the importance of using her art to spark social commentary, the importance of Black women to hold space in the art world and celebrating Black arts and culture.
